Videos... BE MY FRIEND!

I don't usually watch videos on my own because I'm too lazy to look for them. So the most part of the videos I've watched was because some friends showed them to me. There are others I've watched because they were in the recommendation list of the other videos.
So...I particularly remember this one because it made me laugh so much when I watched it. I was in my house with my friends and someone mentioned some funny video they'd watched so they borrowed my computer to see them. And we got carried away and watched a lot of them. And this one was one of them...and the most decent I could find...

It was some time ago so I don't remember all the things about it, but I certainly remember the way we laughed. The girl who uploaded the video in youtube often tells about particular situations in her everyday life. And this one is about things that make her panic, specifically when she encounters some stranger with a merchandising she really likes and she wants to have a conversation with them because she immediately thinks “I like that, too! We should be friends. So she mentions some really stupid ways of starting a conversation because she was panicking.

I laughed because that tends to happen to me, too. Not the Be my friend part, but the way I panic when I want to start a conversation with someone I barely or don’t now. That’s what we get for being shy.

Correction

The teacher likes to give problems to me because I never can choose one thing without doubt for many time.
In this time I choose a movie called Akira. I have another favourites but I choose this because I loved before all of these.
Akira is a film I saw at the 15 years-old, I know another people saw it younger but well, I arrived some later.
This is an animation film, based on the manga (comic book) of Katsuhiro Otomo, and directed for himself, and the premiere was in 1988.
The story is in a future (2019), in the city of Neo-Tokyo; a war destructed it in the past and the situation is critical, with violence, oppression, drugs, terrorism, etc. The government experiments with children with mental powers like a tool of their purposes. The starrings are a band of young choppers like fight, drugs and drink. In a combat with another choppers one of they is found by militars and they discover he have a mental power and kidnap him to study him mind and found a way to combat to Akira, the most powered child that is freeze to control him but nobody knows when he wake up.
I like it because I love illustration and draw, and the draws of Katsuhiro Otomo are really gorgeous. Ok, it´s a fantastic history, but if you not interesting in it, anyway this is a great movie, because the animation is very very good make, the colors, the images, and a significant part; the music; this catch you for all the time.

Last week's activity proved to be something different from what we usually do in class. It was interesting seeing different places you could visit in London and the general price you have to pay. True to be told, I've always wanted to visit London, since I was in school and I was told about the London Eye. Reserving a ticket for the Night Experience would probably be the first thing I'd do if I were to go someday.

The thing that surprised me was that it was really easy to find all the information at the respective websites. They're simple and easy to navegate through and all the information is there and at hand, including different ways to get there.  I think that I'm average when it comes to my ability to search for something in the internet, but I tend to get bored and easily annoyed if I can't find something quickly. Not that patient...

But the task was fairly easy to complete with this. The thing that got me frustrated, though, was to find the adequate day for each activity and looking for the underground station and zone for each place. Really..I think I'd probably get lost in London and never find my destination. After all, people say that London is like a labyrinth... Too bad for me and my orientation problems...

Rainy weather...

Seriously, rainy days are definitely my favourite. I love going outside and getting soaked to the bone, regardless of the cold I'd get for doing that. Walking under the rain gives you a feeling of freshness, unlike those sunny and hot days when the sun keeps bothering you and you can’t even open your eyes or think properly.
.
Whenever it starts to rain, I can’t help but get in a happy mood, I like the smell of the wet streets, the relaxing and comforting sound of the pitter patter hitting the asphalt and the sight of the autumn leaves on the floor and the sensation that the water is washing away the impurities in the air. And in the end of the day, when you return home from an exhausting and long day, you know that there’s a warm and smooth bed waiting for you together with a cup of tea.

These days are made for staying at home doing nothing in the comfort of your bed or playing around and being reckless.

But not everything is sugar coated; streets tend to get congested with vehicles, because few people like getting all soaked or they are just afraid of getting sick

A movie I enjoyed

I'm not really a movie person, so when someone asks me about my favourite movie, I have trouble rememberig the movies I've seen. It's not because  I don't like them, and I think I have watched a fair number of them, but you could say I have a serious problem remembering some things.

But this time I'm going to tell you about a movie I watched not a long time ago. This time, I remember because sometime around last year I had invited some friends to my appartment to play around and watch movies like we always do. That time we watched Summer Wars, a japanese animated movie directed by Hosoda Mamoru. It' was about a highschool student who suddenly was asked to do a job by the most popular girl in school, which he accepted without knowing what it was about. It turned out that the girl wanted him to act as her boyfriend and introduce him to her weakened great-grandmother at her 90th birthday. Sounds fairly normal, right? Well the story is set in a fictional present time, where almost everyone in the world uses a virtual world game tat was something like a social network. Well the entire world worked using that network. The protagonist is a introverted and shy boy who is really good at mathematics, even getting the second place on the Maths Olympics in Japan only because he got one number wrong. So one day he recives a mail with a complicated code on his cellphone and thinking it was a mathematic problem he decided to solve it and sent the code back. The code was something like a virus that activated an artificial intelligence program that began stealing all the avatars of the game and all hell broke lose. So they had to fight this thing and try to destroy it because the world was in chaos and a bomb was sent to japan because the virtual network was connected to everything. At the end they did it and it was all good.

I really enjoyed this movie because it was a romantic comedy with hints of science fiction. It was really funnny to watch and it kept your attention all the way through the movie. Not to mention that the development was somewhat unexpected.

Favourite Band

When someone asks me about my favourite band or singer I often have a lot of trouble thinking of one. That's because I tend to listen to different kind of music from pop to metal or some weird combinations and I can't really choose one I can really consider my favourite. But I can certainly say that my choice today is one that I really like. That's LM.C.

They are a japanese band, considered as Visual Kei or something like that. There are a lot of different kinds of Visual Kei, but in their case they are the more lively and colorful one. Their genre is something like rock, pop and electronica, all together. You could say that their style is weird and their music is not something you are used to listening everyday, but that's why I like them. Because they are different and kind of happy. When I listen to them I get cheered up and nothing seems too bad anymore. Most of their songs are lively and encouraging. I enjoy all of their songs, but if I have to choose one, I guess it would be Let Me Crazy or Punky Heart (Yep...Japanese's english is not good) because of the optimistic feeling I get when I listen to them.

So, as to why I chose them... you see, it happens that tomorrow they are giving a concert here in Santiago and I can't wait to see them. Last time they came to Chile, I didn't have the chance to go, not to mention that at that time I didn't know much about them. So this time, when I read about the concert I was so excited that I jumped and told my little brother about it and bought the ticket as soon as I could. And it wasn't expensive so I was happy. I'm looking forward to it.

Looking at all the files and photographs I had in my pendrive I came around this one. Honestly I had completely forgot about all this pictures and I had no recollection of having them on my pendrive so I guess this time I got lucky. I took this picture last year sometime around February when I was on a trip in Shanghai, China. I remember that that night, I went with my family and some relatives for a walk at some touristic place in town, known for being one of the most beautiful places to visit in the New Year. The place is really popular for the Chinese ancient architecture and all the lights at night-time. It was a really beautiful place, filled with lights because of the festivities and lots of people walking around. Really...it was so crowded that I could barely see where I was going or let alone walk and keep track of my little brother and family. I was a little stressed because of the crowd but it was a funny experience nonetheless. I even remember that we couldn't pass through a group of people looking at something and we did't get to see all of the place. The picture was taken when we reached the center of the place. There was this huge bunny thing (I don't really know if it counts as a statue) and I remember that the first thought that came to mind was that it was ugly and somewhat creepy. But looking at it now, it's not that terrible *laughs*. Well the bunny thing was because of the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese Zodiac. Every year they make a giant animal based on the year and zodiac. I think this one picture came out pretty well now that I see it again.
