Last year in May I went on a trip with my group of friends from university. We went to Viña del Mar and we stayed at a friend's apartment.
I know it's not really far from Santiago and to me i'ts not that interesting of a place to visit because I go there often with my family, not to mention I'm not that fond of the beach, but this time I thought of it as a very entertaining trip not beacause of the place, but who I was with.
We went by bus and stayed there for two nights and it was really fun with everyone there. It was my fist time going to the beach with friends and without parents or teachers or whatever.
For the things we did, we went out for a walk, played a bit in the beach, went to the shopping center and took a bus to Valparaiso. At night we watched movies and stayed up late, eating sweets and laughing.
Again, I have to say it was a fun experience.
How funny. And Viña del Mar is a cute place.
ReplyDeleteI want to do a trip with friends but we don't organize it yet (we say "yeah, go go go" and then nobody say a word... meh ¬¬).
That's nice. I guess you can have a good time anywhere, as long as you're with friends. :D
ReplyDeleteSometimes, the company does the place...not the landscape, although, Viña del Mar is a beautiful place!! (for what i've heard...because I've never went to Viña or Valparaiso, the unique time that mi family traveled for that way, I wasn't because I was sick xD and I was alone in Stgo...it's very sad xDD) but the importance of “your place” is that you felt happy with the travel! And the experience with your friends! =)

ReplyDeleteI dont like Viña del Mar...people everywhere,bikinis everywhere, sunglasses everywhere, blondes everywhere!!! is not very nice for me, i prefer quieter places
